Abstract:

An experiment is designed to observe the standing wave on the electrified cord. The density of copper is measured by Hydrostatic weighing method, then the diameter of the cord can also be obtained. The Young's modulus is obtained by measuring the length variation of the cord.

Key words: standing wave, hydrostatic weighing method, Young's modulus
